✦Archetype and General Meaning
The World (The Universe) card is the magnificent culmination of the Fool's entire journey, a return to the starting point, but in a fully expanded and awakened consciousness (the journey across the mandala from zero to unity at the end). It signifies integration, perfection, the crowning of achievements, and entering a new, completely harmonious level of existence without old blockages. The World does not force destruction like the Tower or a sudden burst like the Chariot; The World is a deep sense of fulfillment after learning lessons with the Hierophant, passing tests with Death, and resurrecting in Judgement. It is a cosmic reward. You are whole, you no longer have to chase anything out of compulsion.
✦Psychology and Inner World
You carry within you the most wonderful vibration to which human consciousness is called: a state of cosmic harmony and inner, mature security. You have a fantastic ability to find your place in any environment in the world. You understand global connections. You may have a very strong need to travel and physically integrate the cultures of the globe, but internal unity vibrates just as strongly within you (the balance between the masculine analytical and feminine intuitive elements in the psyche). You possess the wisdom of the Hermit combined with the carefreeness of the Fool and the vitality of the Sun. You are home.
✦Potential
Your greatest gift is perfect, natural manifestation with complete grounding of spirituality.
- ◆Integration of the 4 elements on Earth (The art of synthesis): You are brilliant at closing projects and tying them into an exemplary, complete whole, where others leave a mess (the Magician with his unfinished flashes of enthusiasm).
- ◆Great Global Works: Prosperity abroad, success internationally, large global business companies (internet-based) or linguistic talents and expanded civilizational consciousness, tolerant maturity.
- ◆Fulfillment at the gates of Truth: You are satisfied and can celebrate every success with a smile, knowing that you are merely a dancer with the universe (the absence of ego blockages).
✦Shadow
The unintegrated vibration of the World can be very difficult due to the fact of being... lazy from the point of view of complacency. You can transition into being so satisfied, "knowing everything, spiritualized from a sense of superiority over others," that you come to an absolute standstill. Another shadow is running away from closure processes. The true vibration of the World closes chapters, while the shadow of 21 forces you to leave "unfinished knots," blocking the exit from the loop. You may be unable to draw a concluding lesson from life (the inability to see the big picture, the mandala, and fixating on a dirty little piece of the puzzle from the Moon, forcing it down into the darkness).
✦Relationships and Emotions
Love for a 21 is a "Soulmate" on the highest cosmic and practical vibrational level. You do not want the thrashing about of the Moon. You expect a relationship with which you will build a whole, safe "World." You create an environment of love so coherent and cheerful that the Universe wants to bless it. Your lesson in love is to accept the fact that no partner will mold your "other half of the orange." You must already be whole, a sphere. When two fully conscious, mature systems from the "World" connect in this way, this relationship moves mountains with a sense of unity without disrupting your natural rights to individual space. You are abundance in this objective system of the laws of nature from the love of the Sun!
✦Symbolism
- ◆Naked/Half-naked Dancing Figure enclosed in a Laurel Wreath (Ouroboros): The figure is androgynous (contains male and female traits equally - in old decks, and hidden objective sexuality by the law of alchemy) dances in the center of the cosmos' Ouroboros (the Victor's Laurel), with complete relaxation and magic (two wands of creation in both hands with equal power of the subconscious and superconscious magic!).
- ◆Wreath with sashes in the shape of infinity ribbons on both axes of the cosmos: Symbolizes zero (0), the point of return to the start, teaching that in a moment, the Fool will enter the next stage of the adventure again, but higher and with a greater knowledge base!
- ◆The Four Evangelists around (Angel, Lion, Bull, Eagle with Books): The same animals as on the Wheel of Fortune (X), but here they are not in motion. The four principles of physics from the Universe have been closed and stabilized in perfect proportion. The agitation has been stopped and sanctified by the Omnipotence of objectivity at the gates of unity after completing the karmic plan (the book/padlock fully known and recorded from the revelation of the Angels).
✦Example of Action in Life
Look at a great master, e.g., a blacksmith, an outstanding engineer, or an artist at the end of his life, working for decades in the art of his trade (the Hermit taught humility and the Lovers gave vision). He made dozens of mistakes, went bankrupt (the Wheel), went through burnout (the Tower), learned anew, only to suddenly, after a dozen or so difficult years, present the world with one most brilliant of perfect, complete technological masterpieces tying his whole life and wisdom into a whole, which is objectively brilliant without discussion of lesser parts. The master stands and says "it is done with passion," closes his workshop, smiling without pride with a feeling of deep inner satisfaction, to enjoy life anew simply as a quiet spectator. Triumph in absolute harmony without imposing one's own ego from the oppression of the Devil's matter. The pure joy of the World.
